Discover Iwate Through Nature, Craft & Sake

盛岡から雫石へ。御所湖畔の景観を経て、岩手の手仕事、日本酒、南部鉄器に触れるコースです。
自然、工芸、酒造が織りなす、盛岡広域の「つくる力」に触れる一日です。

Travel from Morioka to Shizukuishi, taking in the scenery around Lake Gosho while exploring Iwate’s handcraft, sake, and Nambu Ironware.
Through nature, craft, and brewing, this journey offers an introduction to the creative making culture of the wider Morioka area.

C【水と城下町を歩く ― 盛岡の記憶・文化をたどる旅】
Walking Morioka’s Water and Castle-Town Heritage

盛岡八幡宮から鉈屋町界隈へ。もりおか町家物語館、大慈清水、東家本店での昼食、岩手銀行赤レンガ館など、水と城下町の記憶が残るエリアを歩き、盛岡の暮らしと文化に触れるコースです。建物や路地、日々の営みが形づくるまちの風景をたどり、盛岡ならではの物語に触れる一日です。

Begin at Morioka Hachimangu Shrine and continue into the historic Nataya-cho area. Visit Morioka Machiya Story Museum, Daiji Shimizu Spring, Azumaya Honten for lunch, and the Bank of Iwate Red Brick Building as you walk through an area shaped by water and castle-town history.
This walking excursion follows the streets, architecture, and everyday traditions that tell Morioka’s distinctive story.
